I am what you might call an aspirational artistic content creator, in the most abstract way of putting it. I have a degree in Games Design, Development and Professional Practices, a key to a career I staunchly held back on pursuing in an effort to appease my morbid attachment to privacy and obscurity.
My main strengths in this field are in the art department, and I also have some experience in music. Since my graduation, there have been many downs and lows, and for a while there, I did question my choices. Positivity doesn't come natural to me, but last year I moved to a new place and I have to say I'm liking it. And who knows - maybe things could start to look up for a change? Maybe the time has come for me to dust off this old piece of paper I spent four years of my life and an incredible amount of money on?
But wait, that’s not all. I’ve been subtly encouraged, with only the most loving of twists aimed at my arm, to pick up an old hobby of mine: writing. As a child, I was quite a prolific writer. That is to say I rolled my face over the keyboard and made hundreds of text documents outlining the various ideas I had at the time. The imagination of youth sure was boundless!
While most of those works were lost thanks to a corrupted hard drive, and the significant amount of tea that was spilled upon it, the memories live on and have hopefully been refined over the years.
So, where do we begin?
Well, here seems like a good start. With this introductory letter that I hope I'll be able to look back at in a few years' time and say that I actually accomplished something in the end.
